Your day begins at 8:00 AM as we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. The adventure starts with a scenic drive through the heart of the Sacred Valley, a region brimming with Inca history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture.
First Stop: Taray Viewpoint
Our first stop is the Taray viewpoint, perched at 2,900 meters (9,514 feet) above sea level. From here, you’ll be treated to a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley, with its lush fields, winding rivers, and towering mountains stretching out before you. It’s the perfect spot to snap some photos and take in the sheer scale of this breathtaking region.
Next: Pisac Ruins and Market
We then head to Pisac, located at 2,972 meters (9,751 feet). Here, you’ll explore the impressive Pisac ruins, a sprawling archaeological site featuring intricate Inca terraces, temples, and ceremonial structures. Afternoon: Ollantaytambo Fortress
After lunch, we make our way to Ollantaytambo, situated at 2,792 meters (9,160 feet). This charming town is home to one of the most impressive Inca fortresses in the region.
